Dr. Bemis works with you to not only process your concerns but find practical solutions. She delivers high-quality mental health care by obtaining measurable results and implementing evidence-based treatments (EBTs) that have been scientifically proven to be effective for a myriad of concerns. These types of treatments include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), CBT for psychosis, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training. Dr. Bemis will describe the type of therapy offered and mutually discuss a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs. She encourages clients to be active in therapy but understands that divulging sensitive matters with a stranger can be intimidating. Thus, Dr. Bemis works collaboratively with her clients from a warm, non-judgmental, and culturally responsive approach to foster a safe and supportive environment.
